The Charterhouse Senior School Experience Course aims to provide a fundamental knowledge of academic English for the students, which will focus on:
Charterhouse nurtures global leaders for tomorrow. In keeping with the goals of Charterhouse, the course places great emphasis on independent enquiry, intellectual curiosity, leadership, and team work; helping students stand out from other candidates in their further education and future careers.
Students are placed into Houses; one for boys and one for girls. Each House has a Housemaster or a Housemistress, a translator, two assistants, and two teachers. Students have their own room in Charterhouse’s Boarding Houses, the same environment as a Carthusian (Charterhouse pupil) experiences during the term time.
In addition to the standard course programme, students will take trips to famous British museums and sites, such as Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle, and The Houses of Parliament. These excursions offer students opportunities to experience British history and culture. Students will also visit Oxford University and Cambridge University.
